Last Friday, the Youth and College girls had their FIRST ANNUAL* Slumber party!
They had dinner prepared and served to them by our dashing gentlemen of the Youth and College class!
Kerrie, Evelyn, and Julia of Scrapin’ Gravy blessed us with wonderful worship:
And Kerrie led us into a time of teaching of “No excuses”. We are all sinners. We are all in need of Christ and our past does not dictate the ability of Christ to love us! We broke up into small groups where our ladies were able to pour their hearts out to each other, pray for each other, and confess things that needed to be confessed. God spoke to our beautiful ladies in amazing ways!
One of our goals was to promote fellowship within our departments. We accomplished this goal TENFOLD by the end of our Party with games that sent them questioning each other in order to fill in the blanks:
Then we divided the girls into 6 groups and had a scavenger hunt in the dark!
By the end of our Party, we had ladies that didn’t know each other in the beginning playing games with each other, praying with each other, and several ladies that met Christ in powerful ways!
Fellowship? CHECK!
Fun? CHECK CHECK!
Godly instruction? CHECK CHECK CHECK!
